Hollow 03:34
What luck is this? Well I guess this isn’t luck at all. This turn of events is leaving me appalled. My will feels empty but I know it’s not Hollow. Because I’ve got twice as much as you ever said I could. Smoke stacks on high placed roofs tear holes in our chests then burn these roaming eyes. Not sure but I think I’ve learned so much more so than before in just one single ride. So funny I forgot to laugh. Please take this photograph. I’d like to see this moment last so much longer than I’ll ever live. That’s my name don’t wear it out. You think you’ve got me figured out. (you think you’ve got me figured out.) It’s kind of funny that you never did. I took one look at you, took one deep breath. Then closed these tear jerked eyes. Not sure but I think I’ve learned so much more so than before in just one single night. What luck is this? Well I guess this isn’t luck at all. This turn of events is leaving me appalled. My will feels empty but I know it’s not Hollow. Because I’ve got twice as much as you ever said I could. I’m not Hollow.

about

We “The Twirpentines” played our final set on December 6th, 2003. If you were there you’d recall it was a snowy Saturday in our hometown of Meadville, Pa. at the local Sportsmans Club. The amount of people that attended and the energy everyone brought to that room on that particular night still resonates so much with us that we were compelled to record this final song to complete our catalog. We cannot thank you enough for your continued support even 12 years after our last concert. This is is just as much for us as it is for you. Hollow was written shortly after Troy had joined the band, it was performed at very few shows, and never recorded officially. It amazes us the amount of interest that people still have in seeing the band play again, and folks suggesting a reunionand even labels showing interest in re-releasing past albums.

For those wondering and to answer all the questions we have received and continue to receive...
We cannot promise a reunion but we also cannot rule one out.
Afterall, who would have ever thought that twelve years after our final show that we’d end up back in the studio to record and put a song out?

So until we meet again, take this song and make it yours.
Live, Love, Dance and Dream,
The Twirpentines
